新宿西口是超高大樓集中的地方，適合白天前往．東京新都廳是兩棟相連的45層摩天大樓，高202公尺，頂樓開放給民眾免費參觀，可鳥瞰東京都，代代木公園，東京巨蛋。

儘收眼底，天氣好的話還可遠眺富士山，窗台邊有詳細的導覽，可對照所看到的景物，看累了，旁邊就有優雅的咖啡座，消費不貴。
