美女平 美女平有相當多日本的原生植物，並曾被選為日本100座最適合做森林浴的森林之一，這裡有橡樹林、立山杉樹及廣大的原始林。在車站旁有一株高聳入蒼天般的 杉樹，傳說著一段淒美的故事，舊時日本的聖山向來不准女人進入，有位美女為了一探情郎而闖入聖山，因而觸犯山神，被變成這株杉樹。現在女人可以隨意進入聖 山了，而這株杉樹依舊矗立在美女平上，彷彿對舊有制度的一種諷刺。
